SSAC conference was decorated by relief service and Lava-search...
30 Spiritualists's Sports and Adventurer's Club enthusiasts met at a small place near Antigua to learn to perfect themselves in their principles and way of interacting. They learned that clarity of mind and emotional balance are not only beneficial for any sports-activity, but also for our life in general. Meditation alone is fruitless without a direction of mind through these principles. The "warrior-meditation" at the end of the program gave everyone plenty of focus to find goals in their lives that matter and was a new item never done before in any retreat of this kind.

Relief was done as per schedule one day before the retreat... Actually we reached 2 days prior, but the person who was supposed to come to help us didn't show up, so we had one day and help came from the unexpected neighbor only to meet the one who was supposed to help us to do the last leg of the delivery to the Township. Most of the relief may not reach due to bureaucracy and corruption. So we had to deliver it ourselves...
And Now... The excursion to the active volcano Pacaya... The day after the retreat 2 enthusiasts decided to search for lava at the top of Mt. Pacaya, an active volcano. Unfortunately there was only hot stones and plenty of wind to be found. Nevertheless we brought one stone back as a proof. Sometimes we had to avoid strong sulfur fumes and extremely strong winds. One could hear some movement under the earth...
Maybe we did not see liquid lava, but more beautiful colors from various minerals after it hardened... The return journey awarded us three days and three nights in a small town called TECPAN, where our car broke down. With our beards and long hair, the town must have thought itself blessed by Jesus...
