Sports tournament in Anse Rouge area a Grand success in the AMURT education project on 10th of May 2008...

The winning team was Ti Plas, they shot the first goal and the last. It ended with a fierce battle where a 1:1 had to be followed by a shoot out into the mini-football goals. Here with SSAC Director M. Rosbach (left)and Education coordinator Mont-Louis Wils . 4 teams ; Zorange, Sous Chod, Figie and Ti Plas were the competitors. Volleyball for girls was won by Zorange, volleyball for boys was won by Sous Chod teams

Ti plas was the choice, a little but very important village tucked away in the hills of the northern Artibonite. Important, because a very strong waterflow is supplying the whole lower valley with water. A complicated daily system of irrigation schedules directs it into various areas according to agreements with various communities.
